This is look #42 in the spring summer runway show. This collection had as series of stripes and by the time he got to the evening pieces the stripes had become suggestions and curves as you see on the skirt. Vogue.com said of this collection "Saunders’s color palette—green, red, burgundy, pale blue, absinthe—was “off” enough to be vivid but easily wearable. You could almost hear the editors making shopping lists in their heads." The dress has a definitive nod to the flappereque period of the twenties and is entirely sequined in a brilliant array of green, glossy black and silver. It is cut loose and easy and there is a lot of fabric in the skirt so it has lots of movement when you move. Suspended from two small straps, it has a very sensual, sexy feel to it when on. Excellent condition and was never worn. The original price on this dress was $4995
Fully lined in a black tissue silk and closes with a hidden set zipper. There is the occasional section of a row of sequins missing. - super size the photos to see. For me this adds to that decadent, twenties feel the dress already has. Tagged a 40. Adjustable straps.
